1. Pontoon-bridge park is designed for arrangement of bridge and ferry based crossings.

Floating bridge crossings with weight capacity of 60 and 20 tons, and ferry crossings with ferry capacity in range from 20 to 170 tons can be arranged out of the materiel of the park. Basic ferries are represented by those that follow: 40-, 60-, 80-ton ferries (out of river units) and 130-, 170-ton ferries (out of river and bank units).

2. Basic constructive particularities of the park are the following:

• arrangement of pontoon-bridge constructions in form of continuous floating strips;
• arrangement of the park in form of foldable four-pontoon units that present themselves ready-made sections of floating bridges and ferries;
• uniform constructions of floating bridges and ferries;
• absence of wharfs for ferry crossings and feasibility to place ferry transoms on the bottom ground when rendering loading and disloading of carriage;
• using of decks of the foldable units as a roadway of floating bridges and ferries;
• double-lane roadway for light cargo.

3. The characteristics of floating bridges and ferries arrangeable out of the materiel of the park are shown in tables 1 and 2.
